DSO Gaming is reporting that Rockstar isn't banning gamers for using cosmetic
mods; this presumably could relate to NBA Live Coins people who are modifying various graphics
options in NBA with third-party software.Things like ENB Series and iCEnhancer
are still unavailable at the moment because Rockstar has encrypted the NBA files
so modders can't mess with them. Various programmers and modders are hard at
work on decrypting the files, allow for the files to be edited and then setup a
process to re-encrypt them. At the moment they've only been able to allow gamers
to look at the encrypted files in NBA but not actually allow for editing.
For now gamers and modders are relegated to script editing and usage, such as
the gravity gun mod above. Scripts will continue to spill out into the public
but unfortunately total conversions, car mods, handling mods or character mods
are all off the table for now.Still, at least gamers are able to enjoy some of
the more wacky aspects of NBA just relying on the scripts. We've seen things
like alien invasion mods, the ability to fly around as a crow and throw molotov
cocktails at people, as well as cows on motorcycles attempting to outrun the
police.
Traditional modding may be off the table a bit for now, but the scripts are
still providing gamers with plenty of fun.Destiny's Crucible Rewards Will Be
Improved Before House Of Wolves' Launch. Destiny's NBA player-versus-NBA player
activities are going to be much more tempting soon. Bungie plans to boost the
rewards for Crucible matches prior to the House of Wolves expansion's
debut."Shortly before the hunt for the House of Wolves begins on May 19th, all
NBA players will download Update 1.2.0 for Destiny," Bungie's David Dague said
in the latest Weekly Update. "It will be another evolution for the experience
you know."
When Update 1.2 goes live, Legendary items will become possible end-of-match
rewards in the Crucible. Furthermore, you'll earn twice the usual Reputation and
Marks at the end of a match. The first Buy NBA 2K18 MT Coins time you finish a daily feature Crucible
activity each day, you'll get a reward package. The changes should hopefully
encourage NBA players to push through a losing battle and stay until the end
rather than quitting.Iron Banner will be undergoing a couple changes as well.
Spawn locking, an exploit that allows one team to essentially delay the respawns
for their enemies, will be fixed. Furthermore, Iron Banner vendor Lord Saladin
will begin selling Etheric Light.
